What is Pastoral Supervision?

Pastoral Supervision provides both professional and personal support, including assisting you in the following areas:

  • Reflection:  Exploring your motivations relating to your ministry or workplace, situations that have occurred, and taking time to review your response to these.

  • Self-care practices:  Ensuring you are protecting your longevity in ministry with good self care practices.

  • Explore your personal life journey:  Where ministry, faith and family intersect or collide - especially during difficult times.

  • Establish boundaries:  Setting healthy boundaries in ministry ensuring a healthy work/life balance.

  • Future goals:  Reflect and work towards your future aspirations, as needed.

This is your session, you have the freedom to decide what you would like to discuss. The aim is for you to consider fresh perspectives.

We typically meet every 4-6 weeks. This consistency promotes accountability and demonstrates your commitment to maintaining good health and well-being, both personally and professionally.
